Transfiguration - rosary

While Jesus was praying His face changed in appearance and His clothing became dazzling white. And behold two men were conversing with Him, Moses and Elijah, who appeared in glory and spoke of His exodus that He was going to accomplish in Jerusalem."
(Luke 9:28-31)

This rosary is part of With Love from Mom's Luminous Collection, a special series of one of a kind rosaries based on reflections of the Luminous Mysteries.

A light seems to emanate from the opal sea glass beads used in this rosary. All have the same milky white tones with a slight translucence. The Hail Mary beads are 7 to 8mm round, and the coin-shaped Our Father beads are slightly larger with an intricately carved design. Adorned in gold, this rosary is certainly a reminder of the light of Christ and the glory of His kingdom!

I put them together myself. Chaining beads is somewhat more difficult than it looks on paper. The beads are all stone. The white ones are some kind of agate and the black shiny ones are hematite. Jenna thought the white beads should have been gold but I think the white ones stand out against the gold chain (as they should, being the "Our Father" beads.) I think the gold might have camouflaged against the chain and reduced the appearance of it's size. That's just me though.
